One thousand employees will be affected by the sale to Lei Shing Hong, the world’s largest Mercedes-Benz dealership group. The sale includes showrooms in German cities such as Leipzig and Dresden, according to a statement from Daimler. Lei Shing Hong previously announced it has been seeking sale outlets in Germany for the purpose of evolving methods for operation in a matured market.
