Framos Electronics soffers the new Kyocera 8.4-inch LCD module. The Japanese technology corporation Kyocera, a major producer of electronic devices, is extending its product range within the Kyocera Display Group by adding this new 8.4-inch, Super Wide Viewing Angle SVGA LCD module designated TCG084SVLQ*PNN-AN*02. Features include SVGA resolution (800 x R,G,B x 600), an integrated LED driver circuit, long-life LED backlighting with low power consumption, up to 70,000 hours of operating time, a viewing angle of 170 degrees and a wide temperature range of -20 to + 70°C, which covers the needs of medical- and industrial-use applications. This module comes equipped with an integrated LED driver circuit, so that no external components are required to drive the specially designed LED backlighting. This backlighting enables lower power consumption by using the latest technologies for LED chips and light guides. In addition, the LVDS interface guarantees easy and simple operability. External dimensions of the module are 199.5 mm x 147.4 mm x 9 mm while the screen area is 170.4 mm x 127.8 mm.
