Voyager Mobile, a new prepaid MVNO using Sprint’s 3G and WiMAX networks, has officially launched today. The company had to delay its opening last week after it suffered a malicious attack on its website.
Voyager offers two options, including a $19 talk and text plan, as well as a $39 plan that will include talk, text and data.
The company features a range of Android and Windows Phone smartphones, including the Samsung Epic 4G.
Initial launches include markets in Alabama, Delaware, Georgia, Iowa, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Washington and West Virginia.
Highlights in Voyager Mobile’s device portfolio include the Samsung Galaxy S II for $549, as well as the Windows Phone-based HTC Arrive for $489
