Available in both leaded and SMT configurations, a family of Air-Wound Spring Coils distributed by Total Frequency Control (TFC) includes a standard range of moulded SMT coils from 2.5nH to 500nH on tape and reel and custom wound designs with an infinite variety of winding types. Custom devices may be single or multi turn with clock-wise or anti-clockwise windings and internal diameter from 0.3mm. Materials include gold, silver and copper with through leads or preformed for smd assembly.

Air coils produce the highest possible Q values for inductors and are invaluable for tuned circuits with applications including satellite communications equipment, instrumentation, ariels, high quality oscillators and microwave systems.
