Allied Telesyn Inc. has inked a deal to resell General Bandwidth ‘s G6 VoIP Media Gateway.

Allied said it will sell the G6 alongside its own TN9000-series MultiService Access Platform and RG600 Residential Gateway CPE products, noting that the addition gives it access to a “triple play” platform to market to carriers and network operators.

The G6, which is targeted to cable, DSL and fiber-to-the-premise service providers, supports multiple voice offerings, including traditional circuit switched telephony, SIP-based voice and voice services based on advanced platforms such as TGCP and MGCP.
