Cable operator Altice USA on Tuesday announced that streaming news channel Cheddar would join its Altice One platform.
The companies previously collaborated to bring Cheddar content to Altice USA’s News 12 and i24NEWS networks, and Cheddar said its news network is now available to all Altice One households.
The Altice One platform, launched by the operator late last year, is a cloud-based hub meant to replace conventional cable boxes, modems, and routers.
“We are pleased to enhance our relationship with Cheddar by launching the network as one of the growing number of streaming services available on our advanced Altice One platform, giving customers an even broader range of news options accessible alongside all of their other favorite content,” Hakim Boubazine, Altice USA’s Co-President and COO, said in a statement.
