Using this version should also reduces the time to deliver complex services, such as IP-VPNs, the company said.
Amdocs OSS 8.1 includes a pre-configured solution for VoIP services for enterprise customers, reducing time to market for unified communications services, including voice communications and multimedia sessions.
The new rev also includes configurations to support LTE, FTTx and Ethernet networks.
“With Amdocs OSS 8.1, service providers will be able to offer their customers more predictable and faster fulfillment of their orders, as well as an enhanced quality of service through improved data quality and a more robust order fulfillment process,” said Rebecca Prudhomme, vice president of product and solutions marketing at Amdocs.
