James Nuzzo is the latest former Cablevision executive to join his former Cablevision boss, Tom Rutledge, at Charter Communications.
Nuzzo has boarded Charter as executive vice president, business planning and will report to Charter COO John Bickham, who is also another former Cablevision executive.
Charter said Nuzzo will oversee business planning for the company, working closely with the field operations, customer care, marketing, network operations, technology and product teams.
“Jim’s extensive background and experience in the cable industry makes him the ideal choice to lead Charter’s business planning efforts,” Bickham said. “During his time at Cablevision, Jim was instrumental in building a highly effective business planning organization and I am confident he will provide Charter the same great leadership.”
Nuzzo had a 27-year stint at Cablevision. Last year he was promoted to senior executive vice president, operations and business planning. Prior to that, he held several executive business planning positions at Cablevision since 1997.
Before Cablevision he was a finance executive at Rainbow Advertising Sales Corporation, the advertising sales division of Rainbow Media (currently AMC Networks). He originally joined Cablevision in 1986.
Numerous former Cablevision executives have joined Rutledge at Charter after he was named its CEO three years ago.
