Arcwave , a provider of wireless plant extension gear, has hired three sales and technical people to its staff to handle a 60 percent boost in quarterly growth.
Among the new hires, the company named Steve Davidson to senior applications manager, Cliff Simpson to senior director of sales, and Kevin Orzatti to senior sales engineer.
Davidson is late of a number of cable suppliers, including Motorola, ADC, C-COR, Pacific Broadband, and Juniper Networks. He most recently served as a sales executive at Xtend Networks and Optinel Systems.
Simpson, meanwhile, is a 20-year cable sales vet with companies such as Harmonic Inc., Xtend and dB Communications.
Orzatti most recently served in the network design and field support group at ADC.
The company also moved to a larger headquarters building in Silicon Valley, and opened new sales offices in Atlanta and Detroit. The new HQ is based in Los Gatos, Calif.
