Arris will be demonstrating Euro-DOCSIS voice and 100 Mbps data services, on-demand video, addressable advertising, and access and transport solutions for the ANGA 2009 Exhibition and Conference in Germany at the end of May.
The company plans to show carrier-grade, remotely monitored voice services with converged data speeds in excess of 100 Mbps, using its C4 CMTS in tandem with Touchstone Wideband Modems and the ServAssure network management software.
Arris will also run its ConvergeMedia On Demand and Addressable Advertising platform, consisting of the ConvergeMedia Management System Distribution Platforms and the ConvergeMedia Advanced Advertising and Digital Program Insertion platforms, along with the D5 Universal Edge QAM for distributing on-demand content.
The company will also have on hand its CorWave multi-wavelength optical platform and RF over Glass (RFoG) and passive optical network (PON) products; a DOCSIS 3.0-based IPTV VBR (variable bit rate) unicast system for PCs and IP STBs; and the company’s Fixed Mobility Convergence solution.
Additionally, Arris’ vice president of advanced technologies Mark Bugajski will speak on the technology panel “Any Video to Any Device in the Home – Future-Proof HFC Networks Fit for the Surging Bandwidth Demand.”
