Arris tunes up demos for IBC

August 12, 2008 By Mike Robuck

Arris will showcase its next-generation video, advanced advertising, network and workforce management, and DOCSIS 3.0 products at next month’s IBC Exhibition in Amsterdam.

The company will demonstrate its DOCSIS 3.0 products, including ServAssure, the Arris D5 Universal Edge QAM, the C4 cable modem termination system (CMTS), and the Touchstone Wideband Modem WBM750 and Touchstone Telephony Modem TM702 wideband E-MTAs, which are capable of delivering carrier-grade voice and data at speeds of up to 160 Mbps.

Arris will also show its Unified Video Delivery and Management platform, which allows operators to tune into new revenue streams comprising the latest digital video services – from video-on-demand (VOD), IPTV and network PVRs, to advertising and digital programming insertion.

Demonstrations will also include VOD, dynamic VOD advertising, on-demand management and addressable ad insertion. Dynamic advertising technologies that deliver ads targeted to relevant audiences within linear and on-demand content will be presented in collaboration with real-time campaign management and ad decision system providers.

Arris’ Live ServAssure intelligent operations support system (OSS) products that optimize network efficiency and bandwidth will also be on display during the IBC Exhibition, to be held Sept. 12-16.
