AT&T’s authenticated subscribers can now view 27 additional live channels with the U-verse App for tablets and smartphones.
With the latest additions, U-verse TV customers can now watch a total of 136 live channels inside the home and 44 live channel outside of their homes. Customers with “U-family” or higher U-verse TV tiers can watch the new channels at no additional cost

Customers can also now watch the live Turner channels inside and outside the home on AT&T’s web portal.

AT&T first launched the live TV streams on its app in October. Also last year, Time Warner Cable started serving up to 11 live linear channels to iOS and Android devices, as well as live and select VOD titles via its TWC TV site, while Cox Communications’ Contour app featured video content on the go for both Android and iOS devices.
In 2013, Verizon upgraded its FiOS Mobile App to offer out-of-home access to nine live channels while Comcast updated its app to offer 35 live channels out of the home on Apple and Android devices.
