Going it alone against a long, winding wireless bill can be scary and confusing. It’s an affliction AT&T will look to alleviate as it rolls out “video bills,” personalized online videos explaining account statements with a soothing voiceover, graphics and music.
AT&T made a similar service available to its U-verse Voice, TV and Internet subscribers earlier this year and has already rolled it out to some wireless customers in the Mountain Time Zone, with plans to eventually expand the service nationwide. New customers can expect video bills for the first and second monthly billing cycles, and existing customers will see them when any changes or upgrades are made to their service.
U-verse customers have responded positively to video bills, and AT&T has reported fewer bill-related calls.
