Aurora Networks has received ISO 9001:2008 certification, achieving some of the world’s most rigorous standards of quality management.
“As we grow as a company, adhering to rigorous procedures is very important to ensure the highest quality of our products and solutions we deliver to cable operators. Achieving this certification ensures the cable industry that the quality of our products and our strong business practices will always remain at a high level,” said Guy Sucharczuk, chairman, president and CEO of Aurora Networks. “Earning this certification was an important part of our vision to help cable operators evolve their networks to meet the needs of their customers today and tomorrow.”
The ISO 9001:2008 standard contains the latest quality management system framework, specifying requirements for quality management systems that apply regardless of what an organization does, its size, or whether it is in the private or public sector.
The standard evaluates various activities for a company’s quality management system, including product development, testing and performance reviews, process audits, documentation of problems and corrective actions taken to prevent future occurrences, how a company or organization continues to improve its management practices over time, executive review, and, most importantly, customer feedback and satisfaction.
