Optical network vendor Aurora Networks announced this morning that it had hired Vince Soleto as its new director of sales in Canada and Alaska.
Soleto previously served as regional sales manager for ATX Networks where he was responsible for selling that company’s products in the same areas.
“Soleto’s expertise and industry knowledge are a valuable addition to the Aurora Networks’ sales team in helping operators meet today’s complex bandwidth demands,” said Garry O’Neil, vice president of sales, Canada, Aurora Networks. “Aurora Networks has set the pace for innovation in the industry, and with Vince joining the team, we are strengthening our presence in Canada and Alaska as we strive to support the evolution of our customers’ networks.”
Prior to his work at ATX Networks, Soleto served as ITS sales leader at IBM Canada where he was responsible for IT services for GMB (General Mid-Market) accounts in the Greater Toronto Area.
With more than 17 years of industry experience to his new job, Soleto will work closely with customers to ensure that cable and broadband strategies are brought to market quickly and successfully, according to Aurora Networks.
