Automotive Electronics Put Pedal To The Metal

October 2, 2019 By Reggie Hall

Whatever high-end phone or tablet or laptop a consumer may own, perhaps no electronics device is as sophisticated, complicated, or as rapidly evolving as the automobile. Today, we drive from point A to point B on what is basically a computer on four wheels. And to do that safely for ourselves and others, in the comfort rivaling that of our living rooms, with communication capabilities we’ve come to expect from our other electronic devices, and in an energy-efficient manner, requires a level of electronics integration that can challenge even the most experienced of design engineers.

Fortunately, there are tools and training available to assist you in meeting — and exceeding — those challenges.

In this eBook from Avnet and ON Semiconductor learn about:

  • EMI ESD protection
  • Functional safety in automotive sensors
  • TVS diodes selection guide
  • Automotive camera development
  • Automotive image power architecture and design
  • The realities behind autonomous automobiles

Remember to check out additional links after each article for related resources. These, too, are evolving and updating right alongside the fast-moving automotive market.
