Bright House Networks (BHN) has adopted BlackArrow’s solution to manage the execution of dynamic ad insertion (DAI) in its on-demand services.
Programmers working through Canoe can connect with industry-standard DAI systems, including the BlackArrow advertising platform installed by BHN.
“Bright House Networks is pleased to begin working with BlackArrow’s next generation advertising platform to help manage and simplify our advertising operations,” said Nomi Bergman, president of Bright House Networks. “BlackArrow’s products will also enable us to expand our advanced advertising solutions to multiple screens and distribution platforms.”
In addition to the option to eventually provide DAI in multi-screen delivery, Bright House Networks will also be able to use BlackArrow solutions to increase the availability of advertising inventory for local and regional markets, Hock said.
The BlackArrow Advanced Advertising System enables cable operators to unify campaign management, advertising reports, and advertising execution across all their TV platforms.
BlackArrow and Canoe have integrated their respective ad delivery systems and ad placement technology, enabling programmers to place ads with BlackArrow clients
Other companies with BlackArrow’s centralized, real-time systems include Comcast, Time Warner Cable, and Rogers Communications, together representing about 30 million viewers, according to Chris Hock, the vendor’s vice president of product management. With BrightHouse, that number goes up to about 32.5 million.
“We are excited that Bright House Networks has chosen us to help them launch advanced advertising solutions on their on-demand platforms,” said Nick Troiano, President of BlackArrow. “We look forward to continuing to work with them as they roll our solution out to other platforms.”
