Bright House Networks has updated its “easy gadget” utilities app to include unlimited two-way SMS text messaging for free.

With the update, Bright House Networks subscribers can send text messages to and receive text messages from any mobile phone in the United States and other easy gadget users using their Bright House Networks home or business phone numbers.

Easy gadget operates on Apple and Android devices, as well as Windows and Macintosh computers. The update also included a new design and new colors for clearer navigation across all of the various device platforms.

A new easy gadget app is also now available specifically for both Android and iPad tablets that includes all of the same features as the mobile and desktop versions.

Bright House Networks easy gadget was developed to help its voice customers stay connected while away from their homes and offices. Residential and business customers need to subscribe to both Bright House Networks voice and data services.

The Bright House Networks easy gadget mobile app is fully compatible with Bright House Networks’ easy gadget desktop app for Windows PC and Macintosh computers
