Bresnan Communications will tap a service management and billing system from Primal Solutions for its rollout of business telephone services.
Bresnan announced plans last April to begin offering carrier-grade digital telephone services to small and mid-size business customers in early 2007. In October, Metaswitch announced Bresnan would be using its softswitch, media gateway, and application server to create the service.
In addition to Bresnan, Primal Solutions said its customers and vendor partners include Time Warner Cable, Earthlink, Lucent Technologies, Bright House Networks, Sylantro Systems, Telekom Malaysia and Cisco Systems.
