Most recently he was vice president, business development for at Humax Americas, where he was responsible for the company’s cable industry business activities, including the rollout of STB, gateway, IoT and media hub solutions.

CenturyLink announced the opening of its CenturyLink Development Center in St. Louis. Development teams at the Center focus on automating and developing managed services for business customers. The St. Louis facility becomes the company’s third development center, joining its Seattle-area Cloud Development Center, which opened in October 2014 and the Monroe, La.-based Technology Center of Excellence, which opened in March 2015.

Broadpeak will showcase a range of solutions for operators at the 2016 NAB Show in April in Las Vegas. The company reports that a key demo will be its “CDN in a Box” solution, which is said to simplify the deployment of video streaming services by providing operators with essential capabilities, such as CDN management, video analytics, video streaming servers and origin packager. Broadpeak also is highlighting the solution’s cloud PVR capabilities, as well as showcasing how operators can deliver live 4K content with its nanoCDN technology.
