ATX Networks announced the appointment of four new sales and marketing executives to help fuel the company’s growth plans.
Ben Newell, an 18-year ATX veteran, has been named chief strategy and business development officer. He will work closely with CEO Charlie Vogt, who was appointed earlier this year, to pursue new partnerships and growth initiatives.
John Ryan is ATX’s new chief sales officer and comes with 32 years of sales and customer support experience. He will be responsible for expanding the reach of the company’s optical access and media distribution portfolio. Ryan previously serviced as VP of Americas Sales at Genband, now Ribbon Communications.
Imagine Communications’ former head of North America Sales and Services, Jeff Liening, has taken on the role of SVP of North America Sales at ATX to lead the company’s largest region. Liening began his career with the U.S. Department of Defense and has held sales leadership roles with Genband, Sycamore Networks, Lucent Technologies and Ascend Communications.
Kim Lee will serve as ATX’s new EVP of Marketing, in charge of implementing global marketing strategies to elevate the company’s brand. Lee previously headed up the corporate re-brand of Harris Broadcast, launching the Imagine Communications and GatesAir brand identities.
“These new appointments amplify our commitment to customer-led innovation and global expansion, as service providers around the world usher in faster, smarter and more flexible networks designed to support today’s digitally empowered consumer and workplace,” ATX Networks CEO Charlie Vogt said in a statement.
