Sling TV has added Chromecast to its device lineup. Its Chromecast-compatible app has launched on Android and iOS; it plans to support Windows and Mac laptops with that app soon.
Huawei announced its “MBB 2020 Strategy” on the opening day of the 2015 Global Mobile Broadband Forum, outlining a new mobile broadband blueprint for the next five years. “From now until 2020, we have three main targets: supporting 6.7 billion mobile broadband users, supporting a 1Gbps access rate, and supporting 1 billion connections for the cellular Internet of Things,” said Ken Hu, Huawei’s Deputy Chairman and Rotating CEO, in a statement.

Juniper Networks unveiled at its NXTWORK 2015 Customer Summit a disaggregated version of Juniper Networks Junos software to provide customers with choice in data center deployment options. Through disaggregation of Junos software, customers will have the ability to deploy third-party network services or applications directly on Juniper platforms as well as have the option to program directly to Juniper systems using the supported Open Compute Project (OCP) defined software model.
