Bright House Networks announced today that its home phone service had reached the 1 million customer milestone.
Bright House Networks first dialed up its phone service six years ago. Since then, the company’s phone service has been recognized for customer satisfaction five times by J.D. Power and Associates, ranking first in the South region in customer satisfaction in four categories, including: customer service, performance and reliability; cost of service; billing; and offerings and promotions.
“One million customers is a tremendous milestone, and we are excited to continue to be the home phone provider of choice for our many satisfied customers,” said Kevin Hyman, executive vice president of cable operations at Bright House Networks. “Bright House Networks is dedicated to making our customers’ lives easier, and it’s important to us to provide a great product with outstanding service.”
Bright House Networks’ phone service includes features such as Caller ID on TV and PC, call waiting, three-way calling, call forwarding and call return. Bright House Networks, the nation’s sixth-largest cable operator, recently added “enhanced voicemail,” which enables customers to receive voicemail messages by e-mail or text message on a mobile phone.
