Today, Brightcove took the wraps off of its fourth-generation online video platform, which includes a version for smaller Web site projects, as well as new features to help enhance three-screen strategies.
Brightcove 4 has new support for iPhone video application development, expanded live streaming capabilities, advanced analytics from Google and new resources for video distribution, monetization and custom online video applications.
The Brightcove 4 platform is served up in three different pricing and packaging options – Express, Pro and Enterprise – in order to allow organizations to tailor the platform to their needs.
Brightcove Express, which was designed for smaller online video producers, starts at $99 per month with no annual contract.
“As video becomes pervasive on the Web, publishers face increasingly complex and demanding requirements that often span multiple use cases and devices,” said Jeremy Allaire, Brightcove’s chairman and CEO. “Brightcove 4 provides a powerful and extensible suite of new services that make it easy for customers to execute three-screen strategies and generate additional value from online video through new distribution and monetization opportunities. And with Brightcove Express, the Brightcove 4 platform is accessible for any size organization and projects of any scope.”
