* Instant Media enters broadband download deal with Universal Studios
Instant Media has secured the right to offer Internet downloads of films from Universal Studios Home Entertainment. The IM player relies on caching rather than streaming, and provides full-screen video resolution. IM already provides content from CBS, NBC, ABC, PBS and BBC.

* ADDvantage completes acquisition of Broadband Digital Repairs
ADDvantage Technologies Group’s wholly-owned subsidiary, ComTech Services, has completed the acquisition of the fixed assets and inventory of Broadband Digital Repairs. The final price was $180,000. The acquired assets will remain in Mishawaka and become a new ComTech Services repair location.
