* Radiant offers channel replacement unit
Radiant Communications has introduced a channel replacement unit that enables an operator to remove one or more channels, including encrypted services, while ensuring that all other services within the QAM channel pass through unaffected. Once an encrypted service is deleted, it can be replaced with an unencrypted channel. The product is aimed at clearing channel space for applications such as security cameras; informational bulletin boards; and public, educational, and government access (PEG) television, among others. Radiant’s QRF5200 channel replacer works with its QRF5000 encoder.
