• Weintraub elevates Heany
Weintraub Telecomm, a broadband network engineering firm based in King of Prussia, Pa., has promoted Robert Heany to senior vice president of engineering.
Heany, most recently the company’s VP of engineering, manages Weintraub’s engineering and technical staff as well project evaluations and designs for TVRO installations, VOD systems, RF and IP return path integration and VoIP system preparation.
Heany joined Weintraub Telecomm in 2002. During his broadband career he has worked for companies such as Digital Access, Suburban Cable (now part of Comcast), Cablevision Systems Corp., and General Instrument (now part of Motorola).
• Blonder Tongue bows modulator series
Blonder Tongue Laboratories has introduced a new series of “AMM” modulators for cable, lodging and institutional markets.
The series includes the HD-12 and HE-4 models that handle low cost frequency agile SAW filtered modulators that can accept any standard audio/video source.
The new models cover cable channel operation from 2 to 125 (54-806 MHz), with +45 dBmV RF output level.
