* RR Enterprises signs contract with Delta Cable
RR Enterprises Ltd. announced today it has signed a multi-year contract with Delta Cable Communications of Delta, B.C., to implement the RR Enterprises Subscriber Management & Billing System and the RR SmartLink Internet module to service Delta’s and Coast’s combined 60,000 cable and Internet subscribers.
* Coaxsys, XAVi deliver modem with integrated TVnet networking
Coaxsys and XAVi Technologies announced the availability of a TVnet-integrated modem for use in home IPTV deployments. The ADSL/ADSL2+ modem includes integrated TVnet technology and a coax interface that enables operators to leverage subscribers’ existing coaxial cable to distribute IPTV.
* Vyyo secures $25 million from Goldman Sachs
Goldman, Sachs & Co. has invested $25 million equity and long term debt in Vyyo Inc. The funding will provide Vyyo with increased resources and flexibility as it scales its business in the U.S.
* ATX appoints chairman and operations vice president
ATX Inc. has named Larry Enterline as non-executive chairman of its board. Enterline is currently CEO of COMSYS IT Partners Inc., and has served on the COMSYS board since the merger of COMSYS and Venturi Partners Inc., where he was CEO.
Separately, ATX promoted Joanne DeBartolo to vice president, operations, and appointed her to the ATX Executive Management Committee.
