Broadstripe has extended the sign-up period for its lifetime price guarantee program to the end of this year.
The program that locks in a price for Broadstripe’s triple-play services initially launched Aug. 6 and was set to expire at the end of this month. The program, which is called “Broadstripe Forever,” offers new and existing residential customers a price of “about” $130 a month for voice, video and data services.
Broadstripe serves roughly 158,200 basic video subscribers in parts of Michigan, Oregon, Maryland and Washington.
Prior to the Broadstripe Forever offer, Broadstripe said it spent tens of millions of dollars upgrading its network, overhauling customer care operations, hiring additional staff from the communities it serves and implementing new call center technologies. As a result, most of its customers have access to download speeds as fast as 15 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 2 Mbps.
“The first few months of Broadstripe Forever have far exceeded our expectations,” said Tony Lent, chief commercial officer for Broadstripe. “We have surpassed the aggressive targets that we set. Customers and employees alike love the program and appreciate our commitment to providing the best overall value in in-home communications and entertainment.”
