A study led by a researcher at Boston’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital has found that women who are depressed may be at increased risk of stroke.

The six-year study, published in the current issue of “Stroke: Journal of the American Heart Association”, found that women with a history of depression had a 29 percent higher risk of stroke, even after considering other stroke risk factors.
