Authenticated Cablevision subscribers can now view Scripps Networks channels, including Food Network, HGTV and Travel Channel, anywhere in the United States on their computers.
Cablevision subscribers need to have the Optimum Economy package and above as part of their subscription for authorized Optimum TV to Go access to HGTV and Food Network. Optimum TV customers with the Optimum Value package and above can also watch the Travel Channel as well with Optimum TV to GO.
The shows, which include “Iron Chef America,” “Food Network Star,” “House Hunters,” and “Mysteries at the Museum,” are available at Cablevision’s web portal and on the three cable programmers’ web portals. Cablevision said more devices would be added into the mix down the road.
“Food Network, HGTV and Travel Channel offer the high-quality, informative programming that our customers want, and we are pleased to bring these popular networks to our rapidly expanding Optimum TV to GO service. Our customers can catch their favorite food, home and travel shows whenever they want with these latest additions to our TV Everywhere offering,” said Bradley Feldman, vice president of video product management for Cablevision.
