Cablevision has added anime Funimation Channel to its subscription VOD roster.

Olympusat’s Funimation Channel offers anime titles from Japan that are dubbed with English. With the addition of Cablevision, Funimation Channel is now available to a total of 40 million subscribers.

“Many of our customers are loyal fans of anime programming, and we are pleased to add new Funimation Channel to our premium on-demand offering,” said Bradley Feldman, Cablevision’s vice president of video product management. “This is a wonderful addition to the high-quality, diverse programming we offer customers.”

Funimation can be found on Optimum TV’s on-demand menu in the premium subscriptions category. The content costs $6.95 a month and requires digital set-top boxes for viewing.
