Tesla Motors officially landed a $15 million California tax credit Thursday after a 4-1 vote was approved by the board of California Competes.
The motor company was one of 63 companies to be awarded a share of a $50 million tax credit. Those companies are expected to create a total of 11,000 jobs in the Golden State. Tesla has said it will invest an additional $2.4 billion in the state because of the deal.
