The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers is seeking papers and presentations for consideration at this year’s SCTE Cable-Tex Expo.
The accepted papers and presentations will be featured during the technical sessions at Cable-Tex Expo, which is slated for Oct. 16-19 in Orlando, Fla. The Expo 2012 Program Committee, chaired by Jim Ludington, executive vice president for Time Warner Cable, will review all technical proposals.
The committee is particularly interested in abstracts addressing the topics that are outlined in the call for papers. The topics are listed in six categories: business services, capacity management, network and technical operations, smart energy management initiative (SEMI), engineering, and wireless/Wi-Fi.
Proposals need to be submitted to the SCTE by May 18. The Expo 2012 call for papers can be accessed on the SCTE’s website.
