Cox Communications subscribers in northern Virginia now have access to more college sports – including football games featuring the Army, Navy and Air Force – now that the CBS College Sports Network has launched.
With the launch, Cox’s college sports fans in Fairfax County and Fredericksburg now have access to CBS College Sports Network and CBS College Sports Network HD.
“We know that coverage of Army and Navy games is a real crowd-pleaser – particularly in the northern Virginia area. Along with the exciting new coverage from CBS College Sports Network, Cox offers hundreds of football games in crystal-clear high-definition, including CBS College Sports Network HD. As an added-value benefit to customers, Cox offers its HD channels for no extra programming charge,” said Chris Pantoya, vice president of marketing for Cox Virginia.
CBS College Sports Network features college football coverage for the 2010 season, including 43 live games in high-definition, in addition to a variety of studio shows and original programming. In all, the network covers more than 25 men’s and women’s sports, with more than 250 live games every year.
