A communications services provider in Belgium has purchased VoIP systems from Cedar Point Communications.
VOO, a joint venture of Brutele and ALE Teledis, will use CedarPoint’s SAFARI C³ to deliver competitive residential and business telephone services to its 700,000 cable and Internet customers in Brussels and in the Wallonia region.
B.A.S.E. Technologies, recently identified as a Cedar Point reseller and support partner for the European market, assisted Cedar Point in the completion of the agreement.
SAFARI C³ is PacketCable-qualified and architected to fit within an IMS core network infrastructure, allowing network operators to leverage their initial equipment investment in voice as they introduce such services as video telephony and fixed-mobile applications. New applications can be integrated into SAFARI C³, or can be accessed via third-party application servers.
