Notoriously, the Consumer Electronics Show debuts more mind-blowing technology and awe-inducing innovations than we can even handle. And from the looks of it, CES 2016 is bringing its ‘A’ game yet again.

Colorful, Connected Health Devices
Activity trackers and other connected health products are pretty much a guaranteed find at the Consumer Electronics Show. This year, Withings added two new devices to their lineup. The Go activity tracker is colorful and pretty unique with an e-ink multiscreen display. The fun little device tracks steps, distance, running, swimming, and even my favorite activity—sleep. The second of the devices is the Withings Thermo—a smart thermometer with an LED screen that uses an infrared array to take your temperature.
Smart Luggage
Frequent flyers, prepare yourself for one of the most sought-after travel innovations for 2016: the Check-in smart luggage, which promises to provide people with unprecedented hassle-free traveling. The company behind the device, Bluesmart, is giving people a first look at CES. Thanks to Bluesmart tracking, powered by GPS and 3G connectivity, the bags include real-time location tracking, a remote locking system, built-in weight sensors, and a companion mobile app.
Breathing Measures Fat Burn
For all you fitness junkies with new year’s resolutions on your mind, you should take a peek at the Levl, a little pod that can tell you just how much fat your body is burning just by analyzing your breath. The device comes in two parts: users breathe into a grey pod and then insert it into a white docking station. A few seconds later, details about your fat burning levels appear on the outside of the dock.
Shop With This Connected Fridge
Samsung has launched its connected Family Hub refrigerator with a built-in display, enabling you to browse the internet, check your email, and send a text—all while staring into its open abyss for that bottle of ketchup that’s actually right in front of you. Via an app on the refrigerator’s 21.5 inch, 1080 pixel screen, users can easily order and pay for food from nearby grocery stores. Family members can also use the screen to display photos, calendars, and notes to each other. The fridge comes with a recipe manager app that builds recipes based on the ingredients inside, and users are notified when the food inside is about to go bad.
Microsoft Wants You To Work From Your Car
Microsoft’s revealed that it’s working on ways to keep you connected while commuting at CES 2016. They’ve partnered with IAV, an engineering services firm and worldwide pioneer of highly automated driving, in hopes of one day streaming Windows 10 directly to the car’s dashboard. Microsoft and IAV will also demonstrate some automated car technology that will be powered by Windows 10 and Microsoft Azure cloud services.
