Charter Communications has announced that it its multi-dwelling unit (MDU) sales unit is now branded under its Spectrum brand.

The new unit, Spectrum Community Solutions, offers fiber or cable WiFi, and the Spectrum Community Solutions Fiber Wifi product, with speeds over 1 gbps, is across the footprint.

“Spectrum Community Solutions integrates superior entertainment and communications products with dedicated, 24/7 customer and technical support, helping property owners attract and retain more residents and increase property value.” Jonathan Hargis, Charter’s Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, said in a statement.

The benefit of Spectrum Community Wi-Fi would be that residents can use their wi-fi throughout the entire complex.

Similar to Comcast’s Xfinity Communities, Spectrum Community Solutions properties come with a dedicated customer and technical support available.
