Charter revealed a new agreement with Cottonwood Residential to provide wireless broadband and video service to more than 10,000 individual units within 24 months of Charter completing its combination with Time Warner Cable and acquisition of Bright House Networks.
Cottonwood Residential is a multifamily-focused real estate operating company, managing more than 20,000 apartment units in 20 states. The two companies have agreed to more than double a previous sales commitment.
“Cottonwood has been working toward the implementation of an economical high-speed internet and video amenity for some time. Our strengthened commitment with Charter will allow us to execute on that initiative much quicker and more efficiently than previously thought,” Scott Russell, director of business development and ancillary services of Cottonwood Residential, says.
The agreement revolves around Charter’s Spectrum Community Solutions, which offers property owners a way to provide residents with managed WiFi, TV and voice services.
