Charter Communications is on the hunt to fill 150 new positions in the areas of direct sales and broadband installation throughout Missouri and western Illinois.
The additional open positions came on the heels of Charter hiring 100 new inside sales and service specialists in the same area a couple of weeks ago.
The outside sales and broadband installer positions are expected to be filled now through mid-2013 in various locations, including metro St. Louis, Alton, Belleville, Cape Girardeau, Columbia, Fenton, Granite City, Mt. Vernon, Osage Beach, Sedalia, St. Peters and Warrensburg.
“As more and more people discover the benefits of Charter’s bundled TV, Internet and phone service, we continue to grow, and we’re filling positions throughout the region to fulfill our customers’ needs,” said Sean O’Donnell, Charter’s vice president and general manager for Missouri and Illinois. “We are building a team throughout Missouri and Illinois that is focused on the customer and will provide the industry’s best service.”
Candidates interested in the positions can apply online and find additional information.
In October, Charter Communications announced it was moving its headquarters from the St. Louis area to Stamford, Conn. At the time of the announcement, Charter said it planned on adding 300 jobs in the greater St. Louis area over the coming months.
Charter, the nation’s fourth-largest cable operator, will report its fourth-quarter and year-end results on Feb. 22.
