As part of a new promotion, Charter Communications’ voice customers in California can place unlimited calls to landlines in Mexico.
The promotion also includes up to 250 minutes of calling to cell phones in Mexico with the Charter Phone Unlimited plan in California and a subscription to the Triple Play PaqueTV Plus package.
Triple Play PaqueTV Plus bundles Charter phone, TV and Internet service with the popular Latino View Spanish-language programming package.
“Adding Unlimited Calling to Mexico is another way that we are increasing the value of our phone service,” said Carl Leuschner, Charter’s vice president of Internet and phone products. “Most competitors charge incrementally for Mexico calling, with costs close to $40 per month. Charter is offering that same value at substantial savings to our California customers.”
Charter’s all-digital project is also underway in Southern California. With new all-digital networks in Long Beach, Glendale and Burbank, Charter customers now have access to more than 180 high definition television channels including Fox Deportes, Galavisión and HBO Latino.
With digital set-top boxes, Charter customers are gaining VOD access for every television in their homes. More than 10,000 VOD options, including more than 1,800 HD titles and many Spanish-language selections, are now available.
