Chinese operator Chongqing Cable has selected the Arris ServAssure platform to upgrade its network management capabilities.

ServAssure will reportedly enable the operator to identify, mitigate, and resolve potential disruptions to the subscriber experience before they become issues, according to Arris. Chongqing will also leverage the ARRIS ServAssure platform to offer similar network management and optimization services to other cable providers in China.

“Our collaboration with ARRIS shows our clear commitment to delivering the best possible entertainment experience to six million subscribers in China,” Cheng Yong, deputy chief engineer at Chongqing Cable, says. “We’re leveraging Arris’s network management expertise and its ServAssure platform to extend our nationwide leadership in service delivery and to begin exporting network management and optimization services to local providers.”
