Chalk up another customer win for Integra5’s Converged Services Platform (i5 CSP) now that Cinergy MetroNet has deployed Integra5’s TV caller ID service.
Cinergy MetroNet is a Midwest service provider that uses a fiber-to-the premises (FTTP) network to deliver triple-play services to its commercial and residential customers.
Cinergy MetroNet decided to include caller ID on TV as part of its triple-play bundle, but it’s also offering it to customers who have signed up for both video and phone services for an additional $2.95 per month.
By accessing a network address book via Cinergy MetroNet’s customer Web portal, subscribers can organize contacts for caller ID on TV notifications and customize them with photos and nicknames. Subscribers can also view a call log on TV – which shows the names, numbers, dates and times of recent calls – and manage call settings, such as turning the notifications on or off and specifying how long caller ID information remains on the TV screen.
“Our investment in an all-fiber optic network represents our commitment to providing an unparalleled user experience for our customers,” said Kevin Stelmach, vice president at Cinergy MetroNet. “Integra5’s Converged Services Platform allows us to consistently deliver on this commitment through advanced, value-added services that our subscribers can personalize and control – starting with caller ID on TV today and offering the flexibility to meet our subscribers’ changing communications preferences with the addition of other new real-time communications services across TVs, PCs, and landline and mobile phones.”
