Sean Welch has been appointed as Cisco’s new VP of cable access. Before that he served as president and CEO at Kwicr, a cloud-based mobile network acceleration service. Before that, he was SVP/GM of video infrastructure solutions at Arris and also held VP/GM roles with Motorola (acquired by Google) focused on video and data solutions for service providers.
Brett Wingo, who previously held the VP of cable access position at Cisco, has moved into the company’s services organization led by Joe Cozzolino, as VP of services.
