Clearleap has opened a European headquarters in Amsterdam and will debut its Clearleap Multiscreen Platform in Europe at the upcoming IBC show.
Clearleap previously established two data centers in Europe, in Amsterdam and in Frankfurt.
The company said it has appointed Preben Schack as vice president of sales EMEA to drive growth and sales across Europe. Preben brings more than 25 years’ experience in sales and marketing in the telecommunications, technology and IT industries and joins Clearleap from TeleBilling, where he worked as vice president of sales and marketing.
Clearleap said it expects that European service providers are now preparing to offer multiscreen delivery, an estimation based in part on the fact that the company has customers there, according to Braxton Jarratt, CEO of Clearleap.
Jarrett said, “We understand that launching across-device services can be challenging in such a fragmented ecosystem, but we offer solutions that take the complexity out of this process, giving content owners and operators the freedom to spend time on creating and delivering the exciting services their viewers demand.
“As OTT services rise in popularity and expand their footprint in Europe, we are giving operators and content providers new tools and products to bring to market their own successful multiscreen solutions,” continued Jarratt.
In the U.S., Clearleap’s customer list includes HBO, Food Network, Travel Channel, Verizon, and Time Warner.
