Comcast subscribers in Lake County and The Villages in Florida will soon have access to Fox Sports Florida, the two companies recently announced.
Starting March 1, Comcast subscribers in Lake County will receive Fox Sports Florida and its lineup of local and regional sports programming, including all games and programs produced and distributed in HD.
The regional sports network’s programming includes exclusive season-long coverage of the Florida Marlins and Orlando Magic; year-round coverage of ACC athletics, including games and events featuring Florida State University and the University of Miami; select SEC games and events, including select University of Florida games/events; plus FSN’s national sports programming with Pac-10, Big 12, select Conference USA football and basketball.
“We are very pleased to bring Fox Sports Florida to our subscribers in Lake County,” said Mark Russell, vice president and general manager of Comcast’s operations in Leesburg. “We are always looking for ways to offer more entertainment, and we feel that Fox Sports Florida will be an excellent addition to our channel lineup.”
Fox Sports Florida will be available as part of Comcast Lake County’s full basic service in standard-definition and in high-definition.
Comcast subscribers in Lake County also have access to regional sports network Sun Sports.
