Comcast Business announced a $3.5 million fiber network expansion across Denver’s I-70 and Havana Street area. The network is capable of delivering up to 10 Gbps, and the expansion will enable more than 750 businesses across 363 buildings to access the high speeds.
“Network connectivity is vital for businesses in any vertical, and in the manufacturing industry, it’s a central requirement to ensure facilities can maintain daily production workflows,” Shawn Adamson, VP, Mountain West Region at Comcast Business, says. “Companies along the I-70 and Havana corridor can now take advantage of our reliable, high-performance Ethernet services to remain connected to multiple plants, enhance performance for specialized machinery, better manage their supply chain, and so much more.”
Robert Kopp, project manager at local business Midlands Mechanical points to his company’s heavy dependency on its servers including access to its 3D modeling software. “Comcast Business’ reliable, secure and high-speed network keeps our servers up and running, providing peace of mind to IT and enabling employees to work more efficiently and better service customers,” Kopp says.
