Comcast has hired Shawn Adamson as its vice president of commercial business services for its Mile High Region.
In her new job, Adamson will lead Comcast’s portfolio of business offerings and services, including the company’s Metro Ethernet suite of services that were launched two years ago.
She also oversees the in-market introduction of Comcast’s Upware platform, which is a cloud-based marketplace that features applications from Comcast and its partners that was designed to meet a range of business needs including data backup, data security and collaboration tools.

Adamson brings more than 18 years of management experience in sales and operations to her new job. She most recently served as vice president of Sales for FatPipe Networks in Salt Lake City, where she consistently grew and delivered top sales results which included increasing the company’s quarterly revenue year over year, including closing the second largest sale in the company’s 12-year history.
Prior to her role at FatPipe, Adamson served as regional vice president for the XO Communications’ West Region, which included Colorado. In this role, she led the sales, marketing, service, and delivery of voice, data, cloud, and IP communications services to all XO West Region business customers.
