Comcast is once again providing its novel service for the political season: Candidates On Demand. It is certainly a coincidence that COD also stands for cash on demand.
Comcast is providing in-depth candidate interviews through its On Demand service, available to the company’s Digital Cable customers. Candidates On Demand segments will be available beginning Friday, October 20 through election day. Views are free.
Comcast’s Eastern Division has secured more than 500 interview segments featuring the most talked-about candidates running for more than 350 gubernatorial, senate, house, mayoral and other local political races in Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia and Washington, D.C.
Candidates On Demand was produced entirely by Comcast properties, including CN8. The majority of Candidates On Demand interviews will be five minutes long. Some candidates for major offices taped 30-minute interviews.
CN8 will also cover the action live on Election Night, Tuesday, November 7, with comprehensive coverage beginning at 8:00 p.m., EST.
