Comverse has introduced a customer care and billing solution built around a single data model and a single product catalog.
Comverse One is a single system that can manage all subscribers consistently, regardless of payment or service type.
With a monolithic billing and care system, service providers should also be able to easily launch new offers and promotions.
The company said that Comverse One can be deployed in a variety of ways. In addition to supporting pure-play prepaid, pure-play postpaid or hybrid prepaid/postpaid, an operator can also deploy Comverse One to support postpaid subscribers with real-time credit control; to support prepaid subscribers with order management and customer care; or to support any combination of prepaid, postpaid and hybrid accounts.
Capabilities can be added over time. All modules are based on the same architecture, so upgrades and evolution can be performed quickly and efficiently, Comverse claims.
Comverse said current customers can evolve their systems to Comverse One.
